Visited the Library of Congress.

Saw the Capitol.

Found where President Obama lives.

Stumbled from a bar.

Received the best birthday presents.

Crashed a Tax Day Tea Party rally in Union Square.

Inspired by amazing leaders at Clinton Global Initiative University.

Celebrated my 21st birthday with a double-birthday bash.

Executed an amazing outreach event for Hepatitis B Awareness Week.

Rocked my first and only Sen10r Pub Night.

Geeked out at California Academy of Science’s NightLife.

Enjoyed Stanford’s beautiful architecture at Senior Dinner on the Quad.

Remembered how thankful I am for graduating.

Wacky walked for graduation.

Ate my face cake.

Marched at San Francisco’s Gay Pride Parade.

Toasted to Camille and Andrew’s wedding.

Beat the clock.

Gave my sister love for her birthday.

Consumed enormous amounts of seafood.

Lost at quarters.

Rallied to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.

Taste-tested many mojito batches.

Thanked Thanksgiving.

Averted crises in Vegas.

Holidazed with the fam.

This year, I became much more appreciative for people in my life, fortunes with which I have been blessed, and principles instilled in and discovered by me.  I look forward to continuing my growth by fostering new and further developing existing relationships, increasing personal reflection and discipline, and enjoying each moment of my successes and failures.  Cheers to good looks and youth (haha)!  See you on the other side!!!

S.Korea schools get robot English teachers

“Having robots in the classroom makes the students more active in participating, especially shy ones afraid of speaking out to human teachers,” Kim said.

They should try to teach these shy kids to be less afraid of human interaction, instead of replacing the human for the robot.

Nicotine patches to be offered to England smokers

It’s a great first step that is being offered to interested individuals by the government. One of the great things a government can assist with. I wish this harm reduction mindset would extend to several other behaviors, but the stigmas against sexual practices, eating habits, and drug use make it unlikely that contraceptives, fruits, and needle exchanges will be made more widely available.
